Summer Mocktails

Just as refreshing and tasty as some of our favorite cocktails, mocktails are here for the summer! The great thing about mocktails is that everyone can enjoy them. These three recipes will show that alcohol isn’t needed to enjoy a delicious, handcrafted beverage. 

1. Watermelon Breeze

Recipe by Taste.com

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups of chopped fresh watermelon
  • ¼ cup of lime juice
  • 1 cup grapefruit juice
  • 1 cup tonic water

Steps:

  1. Freeze some watermelon chunks 
  2. Blend together fresh watermelon and lime juice
  3. Add grapefruit juice to mix and stir everything together
  4. Add frozen watermelon chunks into a glass with  ice cubes
  5. Pour in mixture  and top off with tonic water

 

2. Kiwi Virgin Mojito

Ingredients

  • 2 kiwis, chopped
  • 1 large lemon
  • A few sprigs of mint
  • 2-3 tablespoons of honey
  • 300 ml of club soda

 

Steps:

  1. Muddle kiwi slices, lemons and mint
  2. Put muddle ingredients into a class
  3. Add a drizzle of honey
  4. Add ice and top with club soda
  5. Garnish with mint leaves



3. Pineapple Coconut Cooler

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 cups of coconut water 
  • 2 oz sparkling water 
  • pineapple slices to garnish

 

Steps:

  1. Blend together frozen pineapple, coconut milk and sugar
  2. Freeze mixture for 8 hours 
  3. Place 2 scoops of frozen pineapple mixture into a glass 
  4. Pour coconut water over frozen pineapple and top off with sparkling water 
  5. Garnish with fresh pineapple
