Holiday season is officially here! That means that it is time for celebration, memories and maybe some drinks. This is a time meant for us to gather with friends and family to enjoy the long year behind us and celebrate the new one approaching. A few bars in San Antonio have gone the extra mile to spread holiday cheer. Join us as we raise a glass with these local Christmas pop-up bars around our city!
Esquire Tavern
Historically known, Esquire Tavern is back again with another season of “Miracle on Commerce Street”. This pop-up Christmas bar has been a staple since it started in 2014. The bar will be transformed into a holiday treat until December 31st. Some of their specialty holiday drinks include Santa’s Little Helper, Jingle Balls Nog, Elfing Around, and more!

Chicken N Pickle
Chicken N Pickle is now taking reservations for their Snowbound: A Merry Ski Lodge. While we can’t really ski Texas, they are putting that holiday spirit into their pop-up bar! Adding on to their variety of holiday cocktails, you can purchase a limited edition shot ski. The shots come in a souvenir shot glass shaped like an ice skate for you to take home and continue the holiday cheer.

JW Marriott Hill Country Resort
For travelers and locals alike looking for a festive holiday cocktail, The Arctic Lodge at JW Marriott is here to oblige. This bar transforms in December from a water park restaurant to a holiday getaway for guests until December 30th. Their specialty cocktail menu includes nine fun and festive cocktails. One for each of the reindeer that pull Santa’s sleigh across the globe!
