1. Haunted Pumpkin Patch Margarita

Recipe by Half Baked Harvest

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 tablespoons pumpkin butter
  • 1/3 cup apple cider
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1/2 ounce orange liquor
  • ginger beer, for topping

 

Cinnamon Sugar Rim

  • 1 tablespoon coarse sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • pomegranate juice, for the rim

 

Instructions:

1. On a small plate, mix the coarse sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and cayenne. Dip the rim of the glass into a thin layer of pomegranate juice. Then dip the glass into the sugar mix.

2. Fill the glass with ice.

3. Combine the pumpkin butter, apple cider, tequila, and orange liquor in a cocktail shaker. Shake to combine, then fill with ice and shake 1 minute. Pour into your prepared glass. Top with ginger beer and garnish with apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and a sprinkle of the cinni sugar mix.

 

2. Poisoned Apple Cocktail

Ingredients

  • ½ cup apple cider
  • 2 ounces cranberry juice
  • ½ ounce grenadine, optional
  • 2 ounces caramel vodka
  • Dry Ice Chips

Steps:

  1. Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

  2. Cover and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.

  3. Strain into a cocktail coupe or glass, then use tongs to carefully drop in one small chunk of dry ice.

  4. Serve while bubbling.

3. Nightmare on Bourbon Street

Recipe by Half Baked Harvest

Ingredients

  • cinnamon sugar, for rim (optional)
  • 1 1/2 ounces bourbon
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup apple cider
  • 1-2 teaspoons real maple syrup more or less to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger)
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 5 ounces sparkling hard Honeycrisp apple cider
  • cinnamon sticks, rosemary, and apple slices, for serving

Steps:

  1.  Rim a cocktail glass with cinnamon sugar. Fill with ice.
  2.  In a cocktail shaker, combine the bourbon, cider, lemon juice, maple syrup, ginger, and cinnamon, shake to combine. Strain into the prepared glass. Top with hard cider. Serve with cinnamon sticks, rosemary, and apple slices, if desired.
